Granitic stones in Cornalvo

Yesterday, early in the morning, we had a run of around 18 km throught the dehesas of Cornalvo.

We saw several bird species such as azure-winged magpie, woodchat shrike, great tit, crested lark, greenfinch, booted eagle or snake eagle.

Moreover, we observed many granitic rocks. These rocks increase the beauty of the landscape and record the climatic effects and human activities after thousand of years.

Adventure in Alange: kayaking and climbing

Last Tuesday (July 4), we had an incredible adventure in Alange, near Mérida. We kayaked under the Castle of the snake.

After a journey of around one hour, we found an amazing cliff to climb.

We observed several bird species such as gulls, terns, herons, bee-eaters and Bonelli’s eagles. Moreover we found evidences of the presence of genets and otters.

It was hot (around 40º C), but we had a funny day.
